Okay — SO DONT SHOOT PEOPLE IN A FRIKKING CASINO!! This guy is so stupid, I just can’t describe how numb he really must be — shooting a handgun in an elevator of the famous Caesars Palace casino in Las Vegas.

The Stardust really was one of the true classics on the Las Vegas strip. Always classy, always a true gem and right now — no longer there. It hurts Vegas enthusiasts like myself to see these classic casino’s go, but there’s just nothing we can do — and that’s simply because we’re not communists…
The free market didn’t like The Stardust, so The Stardust had to go… It’s capitalism, baby!

Youtube user Sam shows us his (beautiful) Rio hotel room in this excellent video. He obviously had a great time at the hotel that houses the ever so famous World Series of Poker.
I’m not too happy with the view of the room — but I’m sure you won’t be to bothered with that staring at that 50 inch screen. 
Man have I always wanted to do this… These guys are lucky bastards doing an excellent heli flight over the full Las Vegas Strip (and more). We can see quite a few of the big hotel & casino resorts…
My personal favorite in this vid is by far the MGM Grand. Damn does that hotel look awesome from the sky!

Tipsfortravellers guide us through a Bellagio room (lake view, which means you can enjoy a view of the fountains AND the Strip) — and I have to say I can’t wait to go there myself. Beautiful accommodation, and from what I’ve heard one of the most exciting cardrooms in Vegas.
The Venetian poker room is the nicest setting in Vegas to play poker. It draws a crowd and is very popular. Everyone here feels like a VIP. It has comfortable lounges, beautiful décor and top quality service. Even the low limit players are treated well at the Venetian. The Tables are top notch. Lovely felt and comfortable arm rests. The popularity of the room can mean a long wait for a table at your limit.
For those with a bank balance bigger than most normal people they have a quality VIP area. But you need to be able to bankroll blinds of $1,000/$2,000 to even think about playing here.
Many of the players at The Venetian poker room are professional poker players. If you need to be at the mid to high limits you will be up against experienced and profitable players. However the Venetian is also a popular tourist trap. The lower limits may well be a place to clean up against the ‘have- a –goes’.
The dealers are professional and in the most part pleasant. They make few mistakes and they are fast, which is great for the hands per hour rate. Both the dealers and the management at The Venetian poker room really know how to treat their guests.
The Venetian is a great place to play poker. If you want a friendly comfortable atmosphere, with great table service the Venetian is for you. If you want terrible players at the high limits it is best to look elsewhere.
